Resisting Resentment
Wrestling with grace in the in-between
After being laid off from work I love, I've been wrestling with resentment—toward burnout, toward systems that don't value Black women's labor, toward the weight of transition. But I'm finding my way back: through grace, through meditation with ceremony, through acknowledging anger when it rises. Healing isn't linear, and right now I'm learning to trust that I'm exactly where I need to be, even when it's hard. If you're navigating your own in-between, holding space for what's heavy, or working to resist the resentment that change can breed—let's connect.
With care,
Amanda
